Qualifying Businesses

The Association is open to Georgia retailers, i.e., businesses with their principal operation (75% or more of their sales and/ or employees) physically located within the State of Georgia that are principally engaged in the sale of small quantities of goods or services directly to the end user of those goods and services. Applicable SIC codes are 5200 through 5900 (apparel & accessory retailers, automotive dealers and service stations, building and garden supply stores, eating & drinking establishments, food stores, furniture & home furnishings stores, general merchandise stores and miscellaneous retail establishments), 6000, 6200, 6400, 6500, 6700 (depositary institutions, security and commodity brokers, insurance agents and brokers, real estate agents and brokers and certain investment officers), 7000, 7200, 7300, 7500, 7600, 7800 and 7900 (hotels, personal services, business services, auto repair, miscellaneous repair and amusement facilities).
